Meet Hart's Instructors and Staff
Owner and Head Coach
David Hart is a former NJCAA and NCAA competitive gymnast with 10 years competitive experience and 30 years of coaching experience. David received National Honors in when he became NJCAA National High Bar Champion. While competing, David was a key leader that helped guide his college team to the National Championships – 2 years in a row!
Coach Louise started gymnastics at the age of 3 and was a competitive gymnast for 7 years. Dave Hart was her coach for 4 of those years. She ended her career representing her gym at Regionals. She began coaching at Hart’s during her senior year in high school and later returned as one of the Compulsory Team coaches. Louise is a technically skilled and detail-oriented coach, but enjoys a good personal relationship with her athletes as well. “I enjoy helping the girls on team learn new skills and improve.” Louise shares.
Xcel Head Coach
Before she was a coach, Cristina was a gymnast at Hart’s. Cristina has coached practically every class in the gym, from Parent-Tot to Jr. & Sr. High and in 2015 she took over our Rec-Op (now Xcel) team. With Cristina as head coach, the program has blossomed and grown. It is fast becoming one of the most popular places to be in the gym!
Recreational Coaching Team
It would be difficult to find a more fun and friendly group of young adults than our recreational coaches at Hart’s. Our trained staff have the physical skills necessary to provide high-quality coaching for your child, but also the patience, dedication and creativity you need to work with kids at this age—not to mention a big funny-bone!
Most of our coaches are previous gymnasts who have a personal experience of the technical aspects of the sport. All staff go through a rigorous, hands-on training process that focuses on not only gymnastics, but on safety, organization and lesson-planning policies..
Linda, our “Gym Mom.”
Hello! My name is Linda. I helped BUILD this gym when it was first constructed. My daughters began as gymnasts here when we were located in Auburn. My daughters were both Level 10 gymnasts, so I know a lot about being both a parent and an employee in the gymnastics world! I have worked here since 1997 as a Preschool Gymnastics Teacher and at the front desk. I love working at the front and cannot believe that I am now starting to see the children that I taught in Preschool Classes become part of our Optional Team and graduate from high school. I look forward to meeting you as you enter our gym. You will always be greeted with a big hello and smile from me!
