Meet Hart's Instructors and Staff

David Hart, Owner and Head Coach

David Hart is a former NJCAA and NCAA competitive gymnast with 10 years competitive experience and 25 years of coaching experience. David received National Honors in 1980 when he became NJCAA National High Bar Champion. While competing, David was a key leader that helped guide his college team to the National Championships - 2 years in a row! In addition, David was consistently ranked top 10 in NCAA for high bar.

Delsa Dislers, Girls Team Coach

Delsa is the former owner of Max Gymnastics Acadamy in Normandy Park, Professional Member for 15 years, and extensively trained at Regional and National Congress.

Chuck and Charmaine Chartrey, Head Cheer Coaches

Charmaine has been involved in gymnastics and cheerleading for more than 15 years. In addition to previously running her own gymnastics program in Oregon, Charmaine has both participated and coached several competitive cheer squads. As a mother, Charmaine understands the importance of childhood development and the benefits that gymnastics offers to help build a child's self esteem and confidence. Charmaine brings a youthful love of gymnastics along with a depth of knowledge to all of her gymnastic classes and is a valued member of our staff at Hart's Gymnastic Center. She has also worked with several high school cheerleading squads to help develop everything from their competition routines to putting on stunting/tumbling clinics and college prep for cheerleaders wanting to go cheer at the college level. In 2008, Charmaine was an integral member of the Championship Cheer Squad that received First Place at Nationals!

Chuck has been involved in cheerleading and tumbling for the last 12 years. Chuck was a member and coach of several National Champion competitive cheer teams including the University of Oregon cheerleading squad. While in college, Chuck and a partner started a high school stunt and tumbling class in Eugene. This was a highly successful class that received many accolades and greatly benefited the local area high schools and surrounding community. Chuck has gone to nationals for partner stunting and team, in which he has taken several 1st through 3rd place medals over the years. After college Chuck joined the Portland Trailblazers stunt and show squad where he continued to tune and polish his stunting and cheer skills. Chuck has coached and assisted many squads in both Oregon and Washington State over the years that have received many accolades, championships, and awards.
